Samadhi: Theravada Meditation

Summary

Samadhi does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

What data we don’t collect

We do not collect, track, or share:

• Your name, email, phone number, or any identifying information
• Your meditation sessions, streaks, journal entries, or Sila check-ins
• Your device identifier (IDFA), location, contacts, or photos
• Analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
• Advertising identifiers

What stays on your device

All app data is stored locally in your device’s sandbox:

• Meditation session history
• Streak and milestone progress
• Sila (Five Precepts) check-ins
• Journal notes and reflections
• App preferences and settings

This data is not backed up to our servers because we do not have servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted.

Third-party services

Apple StoreKit: If you choose to offer dana (voluntary donation), the purchase is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

YouTube: The Dhamma tab links to YouTube playlists. Tapping a playlist opens YouTube in your browser or the YouTube app. Google’s privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Amazon: The book promotion links to Amazon. Amazon’s privacy policy applies: https://www.amazon.com/privacy.

Children’s privacy

Samadhi is rated 4+ and does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, this page will be updated and the change date above will reflect the update.
