Last updated: 25 May 2026
Educational only — not medical advice. Meridian is a learning and reference tool about Traditional Chinese Medicine meridians and acupressure points. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a licensed practitioner or physician before acting on anything you read here.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian app ("the app"), published by CJ Toolseram. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which also applies to the app. Where these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA conflict regarding the licensed application, Apple's Standard EULA governs.

Educational purpose

All content is provided for general education about the traditions of TCM and is presented as "traditionally associated with…" rather than as medical fact or instruction. Point locations and associations are drawn from reputable references (including the WHO Standard Acupuncture Point Locations and A Manual of Acupuncture). The app is not a substitute for professional medical care. Do not use it to self-diagnose or to delay seeking professional advice. Seek urgent care for serious or persistent symptoms.

Purchases & subscriptions

The app offers an optional premium upgrade through Apple In-App Purchase:

For the auto-renewing subscription: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

No warranty

The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the app's content. You use the app at your own discretion and risk.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
